How to use the Tilting Steering Wheel?

This feature provides additional working space when the car is stationary, but the primary function of the steering wheel is to steer the vehicle. Make sure you do not use too much force on the steering wheel when using it.

Laptop position

  1. Park your vehicle safely and centre the steering wheel.
  2. Activate the electronic parking brake.
  3. Select Park (P) if you have an automatic transmission or neutral if you have a manual transmission.
  4. Press the button, once you hear the latch release, manually tilt the wheel, and then release the button.
  5. Open the lid to hold your laptop.
  6.  After finishing work, close the supporting lid. Press the button again and tilt the steering wheel back to the driving position.

Table position

  1. Park your vehicle safely and centre the steering wheel.
  2. Activate the electronic parking brake.
  3. Select Park (P) if you have an automatic transmission or neutral if you have a manual transmission.
  4. Press the button, once you hear the latch releasing, manually tilt the wheel to an almost horizontal position, then release the button.
  5. The tray is at the inner side of your seat, place it on the steering wheel.
  6.  After you finish using the tray, press the button again and tilt the steering wheel back to the driving position.
  7. Place the tray back to its original location, and make sure it is fixed.

Note: Make sure that the steering wheel is completely latched in the driving position, before starting to drive. If you cannot drive away, it means you did not put the steering wheel back to its driving position
