• SYNC Move: 14.6" movable touchscreen supporting both the driver and passenger, whilst driving or stationary. Enabling access to functional and intuitive technology through an easy-to-use interface. The movable touchscreen offers maximum display utilisation on the large screen and Wireless Phone Mirroring that supports Android Auto as well as Apple CarPlay with Connected Navigation. 
  Note: This requires modem activation/subscription activation via FordPass for Connected Navigation.
• My Private Locker: Additional hidden stowage to secure personal belongings behind the SYNC Move screen. An electronic switch gives additional peace of mind by locking the screen when it is tilted at 30° and the vehicle is powered down.
• MegaConsole: Impressive 17 litre stowage capacity with enough space for a handbag or laptop, keeping the cabin clean and tidy.

The new all-electric Ford Capri offers existing Ford technologies ‡, including:

• Blind Spot Detection with Cross Traffic Alert (CTA) with Active Braking and Exit Warning:
  • Blind spot detection uses radar sensors to detect when a vehicle enters a blind spot on either side of the vehicle.
• Cross Traffic Alert (CTA):
  • Uses sensors to help when reversing out of a parking space, where vision may be restricted by vehicles or obstacles parked on either side.
• Exit Warning:
  • Provides visual and audible alerts to road users and vehicle occupants when it detects that the opening of the door of a parked car might cause a collision.
• Driver Alert System:
  • Based on steering behaviour, the system alerts the driver if it identifies irregular patterns of behaviour, reminding them to take a rest.
• Traffic Sign Recognition:
  • Monitors oncoming traffic signs using a forward-facing camera and displays them clearly to drivers.
• Wrong Way Alert:
  • Uses a front-facing camera, navigation data and Ford’s Traffic Sign Recognition technology designed to recognise when a driver is mistakenly entering the exit slip road of a dual carriageway or motorway.
• Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control (iACC):
  • Once activated, iACC automatically adopts the speed limits recognised by the front view camera or provided by navigation data and maintains a pre-set distance from the vehicle in front, bringing the vehicle to a stop if necessary. Once the traffic clears, the system accelerates back to the set speed.
  • Pre-collision assist detects vehicles, motorcycles or pedestrians on the road ahead and those that might cross in front of the vehicle. In critical situations, the driver will be warned by audible and visual warnings and, if the driver does not react, the system is designed to automatically apply the brakes.
  • Emergency Steer Assist (ESA) is a system that helps the driver steer sufficiently while keeping the vehicle stable to get around a hazard.
• Lane Keeping Aid detects painted lane markers, as well as road edges on the road to help prevent the vehicle from drifting out of lane. It can gently steer the driver back on track. The Lane Departure Warning issues an alert that warns the driver by vibrating the steering wheel, if they steer out of lane.  
• Post-Collision Braking:
  • Automatically recognises when the vehicle has been involved in a collision and keeps the brakes applied after the accident to ensure it does not roll into further danger.
• Rear View Camera:
  • Makes it easy to see what’s behind the vehicle while reversing, making manoeuvres easier and less stressful.
• Front and Rear Parking Aid with Brake Assistance:
  • Helps to make parking in a busy environment or a tight space easier and can also apply the brakes when the system detects an object in the vehicle’s path. 

Driving technologies ‡ available on both Select and Premium.

• 360-Degree Camera: Cameras at the front, sides and rear of the vehicle are combined to enable a variety of real-time views, making parking and manoeuvring easier for customers.
• Hands-free Power-operated Tailgate: (Option on Select series, standard on Premium series) Easy to operate and convenient.
• Active Park Assist (with 12 ultrasonic sensors): Controls the brakes, power, and direction when undertaking perpendicular and parallel parking.
• New Lane Centering with Lane Change Assist combines the following technologies:
  • Lane Centering: An extension of the Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control (iACC) system. This provides continuous steering support and guides the vehicle through automated steering inputs to help keep the vehicle centred in its lane.
  • Lane Change Assist: The system is designed to assist the driver in changing lanes on motorways.  The system provides actual steering assistance when the driver wishes to change the lane. It can be activated by a tip on the turn indicator and monitors traffic approaching from behind before starting the lane change.
• Windscreen Head Up Display.

The Ford BlueOval™ Charge Network is our customer’s Electric Vehicle (EV) mobility companion. Integrated into the FordPass App and the vehicle’s HMI, the BlueOval™ Charge Network provides the customer with access to a vast number of public charging points across Europe, independent of operator or brand. This frees the customer from the need for advance planning or having to sign up to multiple charging network operators, ensuring they enjoy a positive driving experience.

Over 2,000 Charge Point Operators (CPOs) across Europe provide access to over 600,000 AC and DC charge points. The BlueOval™ Charge Network consolidates these into one single place for easy and convenient access to payment. All accessible via the FordPass App, the BlueOval™ RFID card or Plug&Charge. The BlueOval™ Charge Network includes several high power charging stations operated by IONITY, EnbW, Total Energies, Iberdrola, and many other CPOs.  

A special focus of the BlueOval™ Charge Network lies on IONITY, a leading high-power charging network with representation in 24 European countries. It is a joint venture with key shareholders that include Ford and other leading vehicle manufacturers. IONITY’s easy-to-operate charging stations offer the customer the convenience of multiple charging points per location, facilitating fast, efficient charging for numerous vehicles simultaneously and high-quality fast charging stations. IONITY is especially known for operating charging stations on highways and major autoroutes. 

Plug&Charge^™ is an innovative feature that offers you fast, seamless charging. You simply plug in your Electric Vehicle (EV) at a participating public charging station, charge your vehicle, and continue with your journey. No need to access an app or to use a payment or RFID card. Once the BlueOval™ Charge Network is activated in FordPass, Plug&Charge is automatically enabled for all compatible chargers.  

Plug&Charge(f) offers you an exceptionally convenient way to charge your EV at participating locations. The feature saves you time though a safely managed authentication and payment process: the BlueOval™ Charge Network.

Our home charging solutions are tailored to your needs.  

There are three different EV Home Charger solutions available, depending on your location. These are summarised as follows:  

• Value EV Home Charger – This charging solution is straightforward to use as it does not offer advanced connectivity features and also requires the lowest initial expenditure.  
• Connected EV Home Charger – This convenient home charging solution harnesses intelligent technology to seamlessly communicate with your local network. You can easily monitor and control charging sessions remotely, offering you greater control and additional data that can help you further tailor your charging schedules.  
• Advanced EV Home Charger – Building on the features of the Connected EV Home Charger, the Advanced EV Home Charger offers you the highest level of sustainable charging activity. With an Advanced EV Home Charger, it is also possible to harness surplus solar energy to charge your vehicle.  

A Mode 3 cable is supplied with your All-Electric Ford for use in public charging sessions, where a charging station cable is not provided. A charging cable for use at home is usually included with the EV Home Charger installation. In addition, a range of Ford Approved Home Charging Cables are also available as accessory items (a).

Yes, your current Ford Connected Wallbox will support the All-Electric Capri. If you don’t have an EV Home Charger at home already, Ford works with recommended EV home charger installers in selected markets and we offer up to 3 different levels of EV Home Charger’s to give customers the choice that fits best to your needs.

Ford works together with several installation service providers in European markets to provide customers with a great range of services around charging at home.   
Ford will refer customers to those partners where they will have the opportunity to select from a range of different wallboxes, based on their individual preferences.   

The All-Electric Capri Dynamic Charging Feature enables the usage of specialised electric vehicle tariffs to optimise home charging. In selected markets, Ford works with Energy Service Partners (d) that offer tariffs that are optimised to be more efficient and more cost-effective for the customer, by scheduling charging when electricity is cheaper.  

The Ford Capri can reach up to an impressive maximum range of up to 389 miles (b) on the Select Extended Range RWD.  

Range is maximised through e.g. efficient tyres, comprehensive aerodynamic optimisation including wheels, and a fully covered underbody, specially-designed air curtain vents.

Multiple external elements impact range performance, notably including weather, ambient temperature, driving behaviour, driving profile, vehicle condition, age, and condition as well as temperature of the lithium-ion-battery (b). 

Several factors can affect the range of any vehicle, such as fast driving, extreme hot or cold weather conditions, using heating or air-conditioning, high payload or headwinds, vehicle maintenance, and lithium-ion battery age as well as state of health (b). 

Capri is one of the most energy efficient EV’s in the marketplace, with energy consumption of only 13.3 kWh per 100 km.
