CarPlay is not Working After an IOS Update

If you are having trouble connecting to CarPlay after updating your device please try the following troubleshooting steps:

  1. In the CarPlay settings on your phone, select Forget this Device.
  2. Check the Lighting Cable for cracks, damage, residue, or chips and replace if any are found.
  3. Try a different Lightning Cable if available.
  4. Restore factory settings on the infotainment system. 

If none of these steps work, please contact your local Ford Dealer.
