The Transit Connect & Tourneo Connect PHEV’s impressive electric range of up to 92 miles (WLTP) is more than enough for most of your day-to-day journeys, particularly for urban driving. This will allow you to operate on electric-only power the majority of the time. This will allow you to operate on electric-only power the majority of the time, supporting access to Low Emission Zones, particularly as more cities implement emissions restrictions in city centres.

The Transit Connect & Tourneo Connect PHEV offers you a lower cost of operation than ICE, with reduced fuel costs, the ability to avoid congestion charges and lower maintenance costs.

Connectivity features are available to help you make the most of your PHEV. The FordPass Battery Management System monitors battery levels to give you visibility of:

• Battery state of charge
• Charge time remaining
• Alert when fully charged

While driving in electric-only mode, the cabin can be heated via a PTC water heater, allowing you to operate the vehicle on entirely electric power, even in cold weather. The cabin can be heated or cooled while the vehicle is on charge to avoid unnecessary battery drain, allowing you to drive off with a full charge

Note: The PHEV battery cannot be pre-conditioned.

The Transit Connect & Tourneo Connect PHEV features 4 EV modes which help you optimise the EV use of your vehicle.

• EV Now – for driving using only the electric motor

The eCall Emergency System can contact emergency services in emergency situations, either automatically or by manually pressing a button, reducing anxiety in potentially stressful situations.

Vehicle Health Alerts utilise push notifications to inform you of warning lights in the vehicle, indicating a defect or necessary maintenance. These alerts provide further information on the cause of the fault, as well as necessary steps on how to resolve it. Examples include:

• Broken LEDs/headlamps
• Low diesel exhaust fluid
• Tyre pressure warnings
• More urgent warnings which may require a visit to a dealership

Vehicle Status provides an overview of all relevant vehicle data, such as the remaining range, the current mileage and time until next inspection.

Parking Position displays the vehicle’s last parking position as well as the address and the time of parking a helpful reminder when parking in unfamiliar locations.

The FordPass App can also control vehicle locking / unlocking, giving you peace of mind when away from the vehicle

The Anti-theft Alarm is automatically activated upon locking the vehicle. The vehicle will detect an attempted theft and you will be notified.

WiFi-Hotspot enables wireless connection through Apple CarPlay andAndroid Auto*.
