What are Ford Door Edge Protectors?

Ford's ingenious Door Edge Protector system helps to prevent damage to your vehicle in car parks, as well as helping to prevent accidental damage to other vehicles, should the opening door hit them. 

The Door Edge Protectors comprise of a robust plastic strip which automatically pops onto the edge of the door upon opening, protecting it from damage. When specified, the Door Edge Protectors are fitted on the front and rear doors.
