Plug&Charge is Now Available For Explorer and Capri

All Explorer and Capri models are now Plug&Charge capable.
Plug&Charge is a free service and automatically activated for all EVs by activating the free BlueOval™ Charging Network (BOCN) access.

What is Plug&Charge

Plug&Charge is an innovative feature that offers you fast, seemless charging. You simply plug in your Electric Vehicle (EV) at a participating public charging station, charge your vehicle and continue with your journey. No need to access an app or to use a payment or RFID card. Once the BlueOval™ Charge Network is activated in FordPass™, Plug&Charge is automatically enabled for all compatible chargers.

Troubleshooting Plug&Charge activation

If the vehicle was received prior to 28th August 2024, follow these steps for the activation:

1. Remove your vehicle from FordPass.
2. Add the vehicle back to FordPass and activate BOCN access.
3. Plug&Charge is automatically activated.
