Smart Camper Touchscreen

The new touchscreen control module on the Transit Custom Nugget is located above the wardrobe.

Features and Functions 

Heating

This provides the user with a + or – button to choose the temperature the Campervan Heating system is set to. Heating schedules can also be set up. Heating modes can be controlled by selecting the button to the right of heating for: OFF/Vent/Heat. The icon to the left of the thermostat indicates if heating schedules are active or inactive.

Water

This displays fresh and grey water levels available. The water system is automatically disabled when freshwater levels reach 0% to protect the water pump and water heater. The water heater can be selected for up to 3 hours of operation and the water system can be disabled with the toggle button in the top right.

Power

When the Smart Fuse Box detects charging, the Plug or Solar icon is displayed. The power bar displayed defines the state of charge.

Lights

This provides the user with a toggle switch (ON/OFF) to select the desired light function. Lights can be warm white or RGB and have brightness set via the lights page.

Inclinometer

The inclinometer function displays the pitch and yaw of the vehicle for assistance while levelling.

Cool Box

Choice of 5 different power level settings and night mode.

Standby

This is automatically applied after the Camper Touchscreen has had a period of 2 minutes or above without user input from both the Camper Touchscreen system and Mobile Application. Standby or display off can be selected via the settings menu and set to a period of 2/5/OFF minute timers.

Navigation Bar

It is possible to show the following views on the Navigation Bar: Home, Widgets, Bluetooth connection state to Camper Control App (White when connected, grey when not).

Power Button menu 

Provides 3 options for the system: Display Off, Power Off and Return.

Settings 

Hosts Date and Time, Languages, Software Update, Bluetooth Settings, Standby Settings and Set Default Values options for the user. 

Widgets 

Widgets are an expansion or addition to the functionality provided on the Home Page of the Camper Touchscreen system. Here, users can get more information or access to settings not on the Home Page, for example, lights, heating and cool box. 

Camper Control Mobile App

The accompanying mobile app can be used to display and control touchscreen functions while outside the vehicle. Bluetooth connection is required for the Camper Control application to function. The App is available in both iOS and Android Stores. Scan the QR codes below to install.
