Saarlouis Plant Statement

On the 7^th of February 2024 Ford informed its workforce at the Saarlouis plant about the signing of a social tariff agreement and a key points paper in connection with the end of Ford Focus production in November 2025. Subject to the formal steps for implementation, this marks an important milestone in the negotiations with the social partners on the social collective agreement, reconciliation of interests and social plan that have been ongoing since 2023. A key component of these agreements is the planned gradual reduction of around 2,700 jobs through socially responsible, voluntary redundancy programmes. In addition, Ford stands by its commitment to retain or create 1,000 jobs at the Saarlouis site.
