Due to data protection legislation, Ford Motor Company cannot disclose information regarding outstanding vehicle safety recalls to individuals who are not the current owner of the vehicle.

However, the Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency has launched a new service to check if a vehicle has an oustanding safety recall.

This service allows anyone wanting to buy a used car, and existing car owners, to check for an outstanding vehicle safety recall. All you need to do is enter your car's registration number.
