The sprinting stance is broader. The rear overhang is shorter. And Mustang GT boasts a large, aggressive grille opening – increasing airflow for even more power and performance. New bonnet vents and a redesigned front splitter optimise overall aerodynamics further still. And with customisation as a defining feature of the new vehicle, you’ll have every opportunity to make the GT reflect your attitude even more.

The drama begins as soon as you approach Mustang Convertible. Animated welcome lights greet you as you cast your eyes over its movie star looks. More than 700 styling sketches were made before this final design was chosen.

In a distinct move away from the previous generation, the belt line has been dropped at the rear of the door. And there are no undercuts. Creating a more sculpted, stern appearance – that’s more tenacious than ever before.

The fabric roof itself is fully insulated for comfort all year round. To activate it requires the simplest of touches. Using the single-handle centre latch floods the vehicle with sunlight or starlight. Putting you among the elements and giving you a front row experience of the glorious V8 growl.

Welcome to the iconic line-up – the Dark Horse. The first new Mustang performance series since the Mustang Bullitt was introduced in 2001. But it isn’t only the exterior that’s more sinister. The new 5.0-litre V8 also promises devilish performance.

Ingenious design and premium textiles feature throughout. Premium-touch materials are utilised across the instrument panel and door cards. And from front to back, all occupants enjoy luxurious leather upholstery. But don’t be mistaken, the interior hasn’t gone soft. We know Mustang pilots seek out challenging winding roads and want to test its limits on track. That’s why both driver and passenger seats have been designed to grip and keep you firmly anchored through every corner.

The fighter jet-inspired cockpit lets you know you’re in for a special driving experience. And the two flowing and curved displays only heighten the excitement.

The 12.4-inch digital instrument cluster utilises the same Unreal Engine 3D creation tool used in modern video games. This allows you, the driver to create a whole lot of fun.

You can choose from multiple display modes. Traditional dual dial, sport dual dial and a track-focused display are made available via simple touch. The setup of the all-new Mustang is also displayed on the centre stack as real-time graphical renderings. And in true gamified style, you can rotate the car virtually using your fingertips.

The All-New Ford Mustang fizzes with excitement. Even at a standstill. And now, every approach you make towards the vehicle is even more dramatic. More thrilling.

Approach Detect celebrates your arrival with animated welcome lighting. And when you step inside the vehicle, the Mustang splash screens power up in vivid colour, letting you know that now you’re ready to go.

The intuitive SYNC 4 with Premium Connectivity system allows you to seamlessly connect to your world through a striking 13.2" landscape display. With a simple hand gesture or conversational voice command you can control multiple features. The All-New Ford Mustang is also Apple CarPlay and Android Auto* ready – making it easy to contact friends and family via call or text message. You can even access some of your favourite apps.

The 5.0L V8 creates the perfect soundtrack for every journey. But, on those very rare occasions you might want to listen to something else, the latest B&O^† sound system is more than capable of delivering. Experience ultra-crisp audio through 12 speakers and a subwoofer. The system also includes Ford’s Electronic Sound Enhancement technology to amplify engine sounds directly into the cabin for when you really want the hairs to stand on end.
