**How do I extract the SYNC^®*update files to my flash drive?**

For detailed instructions on how to extract SYNC update files to a USB flash drive:

Visit the SYNC Support - G .
Enter your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) and select Check for update.
Select the drop-down under SYNC UPDATES.
Note: If your SYNC Navigation is up-to-date, you will see a green checkmark and a message stating that an update is not available for your vehicle.
Choose USB Drive as your preferred installation method and follow the instructions.
