How to Check for SYNC Software Updates

SYNC and Map Updates are available for download by entering your vehicle VIN into our Ford website www.ford.co.uk/support/sync-maps-updates. Should you have any difficulties, please contact your local Ford dealership.

If a SYNC software or map update is available for your saved Ford, you'll see a notification on the SYNC dashboard tile when you login to your Ford Account. If an update is due, follow the instructions to install and confirm the update.
