- Traffic Sign Recognition
- Monitors oncoming traffic signs using a forward facing camera and displays them clearly to drivers.
- Wrong Way Alert
- Uses a front-facing camera, navigation data and Ford’s Traffic Sign Recognition technology designed to recognise when a driver is mistakenly entering the exit slip road of a dual carriageway or motorway.
- Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control (iACC)†
- Once activated, iACC automatically adopts the speed limits recognised by the front view camera or provided by navigation data and maintains a pre-set distance from the vehicle in front, bringing the vehicle to a stop if necessary. Once the traffic clears, the system accelerates back to the set speed.
- Pre-collision assist detects vehicles, motorcycles or pedestrians on the road ahead and those that might cross in front of the vehicle. In critical situations the driver will be warned by audible and visual warnings and, if the driver does not react, the system is designed to automatically apply the brakes.
- Lane Keeping Aid detects painted lane markers, as well as road edges on the road to help prevent the vehicle from drifting out of lane. It can gently steer the driver back on track. The Lane departure warning issues an alert that warns the driver by vibrating the steering if they steer out of lane.
- Post-Collision Braking
- Automatically recognises when the vehicle has been involved in a collision and keeps the brakes applied after the accident to ensure it does not roll into further danger.
- Rear View Camera
- Makes it easy to see what’s behind the vehicle while reversing, making manoeuvres easier, safer and less stressful.

Integrated into the FordPass App and the vehicle’s HMI screen the BlueOval™ Charge Network provides the customer with access to a vast number of public charging points across Europe, independent of operator or brand. This frees the customer from the need for advance planning or having to sign up to multiple charging network operators ensuring they enjoy a positive driving experience.
Over 2,000 Charge Point Operators (CPOs) across Europe provide access to over 800,000 AC and DC charge points. The BlueOval™ Charge Network consolidates these into one single place for easy and convenient access and payment. All accessible via the FordPass App, the BlueOval™ RFID card or Plug&Charge. The BlueOval™ Charge Network includes several high power charging stations operated by IONITY.
A special focus of the BlueOval™ Charge Network lies on IONITY, a leading high-power charging network with representation in 24 European countries. It is a joint venture with key shareholders that include Ford and other leading vehicle manufacturers. IONITY’s easy-to-operate charging stations offer the customer the convenience of multiple charging points per location, facilitating fast, efficient charging for numerous vehicles simultaneously and high-quality fast charging stations. What is Plug&Charge?
Plug&Charge -- Is an innovative feature that offers you a seamless charging experience. Once Plug&Charge is enabled within the respective section in FordPass™, you simply plug in your EV at a participating public charging station and charging commences. There is no need to access the app, a payment or RFID card to complete the charging session.

What are the home charging options for the New All-Electric Ford Puma Gen-E?

There are up to three different EV Home Charger solutions available, depending on your location. These are summarised as follows:
- Value EV Home Charger – This charging solution is straightforward to use as it does not offer advanced connectivity features and also requires the lowest initial expenditure.
- Connected EV Home Charger – This convenient home charging solution harnesses intelligent technology to seamlessly communicate with your local network. You can easily monitor and control charging sessions remotely, offering you greater control and additional data that can help you further tailor your charging schedules.
- Advanced EV Home Charger – Building on the features of the Connected EV Home Charger, the Advanced EV Home Charger offers you the highest level of charging activity. With an Advanced EV Home Charger, it is also possible to harness surplus solar energy to charge your vehicle.
A Mode 3 cable is supplied with your All-Electric Ford for use in public charging sessions, where a charging station cable is not provided. A charging cable for use at home is usually included with the EV Home Charger installation. In addition, a range of Ford Approved Home Charging Cables are also available as accessory items.‡
Will a Ford connected wallbox or equivalent support charging at home for my new all-electric Ford Puma Gen-E and what are Ford’s plans for wallboxes?
Yes, your current Ford Connected Wallbox will support the All-Electric Puma Gen-E. If you don’t have an EV Home Charger at home already, Ford works with recommended EV home charger installers in selected markets and we offer up to 3 different level of EV Home Charger’s, to give customers the choice that fits best to your needs.
Ford works together with several installation service providers in European markets to provide customers with a great range of services around charging at home.
Ford will refer customers to those partners where they will have the opportunity to select from a range of different wallboxes, based on their individual preferences.
How can I save money when charging at home?
The All-Electric Puma Gen-E Dynamic Charging Feature, enables the usage of specialized electric vehicle tariffs to cost optimise home charging. In selected markets, Ford recommends Energy Service Partners ‡‡ that offer tariffs that are optimized to be more cost-effective for the customer, by scheduling charging when electricity is cheaper. Currently available for Great Britain with Octopus Energy and Germany, Netherlands and Norwary with Tibber Energy.
Note: Dynamic Charging is a service available with the vehicle and will be available for the Ford Mustang Mach-E, all-electric Ford Explorer, all-electric Ford Capri, and Ford Puma Gen-E with functionality set to expand to future Ford EVs.
What will be the range of the new all-electric Puma Gen-E?
The Ford Puma Gen-E can reach up to a range of up to 233 miles.
Note: Estimated range using Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicle Test Procedure (WLTP). Figures shown are for comparability purposes and should only be compared with other vehicles tested to the same technical procedures. Actual range varies with conditions such as external elements like temperature, driving behaviours, route profile, vehicle maintenance, and lithium-ion battery age and condition. 376km [233 miles] WLTP Overall Range reflects a combined driving cycle and 277km [172 mile] WLTP Extra High range reflects motorway driving – both tests are conducted in controlled conditions with an ambient temperature of 23 degrees Celsius and no climate or electrical load.
How is range affected on the new all-electric Ford Puma Gen-E?
Range is maximised through e.g. efficient tyres, comprehensive aerodynamic optimisation including wheels, a fully covered underbody, specially-designed air curtain vents.
Multiple external elements impact range performance, notably including weather, ambient temperature, driving behaviour, driving profile, vehicle condition, age, and condition and temperature of the battery.
