How do I complete my FordPass authorisation if I do not see the in-vehicle prompt?
To troubleshoot your in-vehicle prompt not appearing, you can perform a key cycle and check your connectivity settings along with other steps. See the full list of steps below.

Missing In-Vehicle Authorisation Prompt
Follow the steps in the sequence listed and check after each step to see if the issue is resolved.

Safely enter your vehicle.

Ensure that your vehicle is on, running, parked, and in a well-ventilated safe area.

Start your vehicle in an open space to begin pairing with your device.

Leave the vehicle on and keep it in park.

Perform a key cycle.

Turn your vehicle off.

Open the driver’s door and lock it.

Close the driver’s door.
-
Wait until the radio display turns off completely.

Restart your vehicle.
-

Turn off and turn on Connectivity Settings.

Tap Settings on your in-vehicle display.
-
Locate Connectivity Settings.

Slide the toggle for Vehicle Connectivity off.

Wait for one minute.

Slide the toggle for Vehicle Connectivity on.

Request activation again in FordPass®* by selecting Vehicle Home > Connect to Vehicle
