What do I do if I need to switch vehicles with Usage-Based Insurance?

If you decide to switch data sharing to a different vehicle, you must notify your Insurer.

1. Request to switch data sharing enrolment from the original vehicle to a different vehicle. They will then verify your consent to switch data sharing to a different vehicle and upload the data sharing termination request to the Ford Application Programming Interface for the original vehicle.
2. Receive an un-enrolment confirmation from the FordPass^®* Message Centre and through email. 

You and your Insurer will then proceed to enrolling the new vehicle into data sharing. Visit our Enrolment Process topic, for more details.
